For professional land operators
Why a platform, not just a box?

A rental box is a proven, drop-in way to rent land. InWorld·Online is an integrated platform that runs your rentals, security, invites, community and reporting across all your land — from one dashboard, so you get your time back and your team stays in sync.
Here's the difference, and why it's built the way it is.

See the difference

Two tools for two jobs

Both are good at what they do. The question is: which tool is a better fit for you?

A traditional rental box

A trusted, proven way to rent land — a box drops onto the parcel and handles payments and access for that unit. Plenty of owners run them across whole regions.

Each box works on its own, though: security, group invites and community tools come from separate products you add on, and there's no single dashboard or combined reporting tying the whole operation together.

InWorld·Online

One platform for the whole region — and every region you run. Rentals, land sales and an Areas layer, parcel security, automatic group invites, reporting and visitor insights, a public branded rental website, and Discord & community tools.

All part of your plan, managed from a single dashboard. Nothing extra to buy, nothing to wire together — built for people running land as a business, often with a team.

Who it's for. Estate owners and land managers running multiple regions or many rentals — often with staff — who want one place to run the whole operation, not boxes that need to be updated on every individual parcel.

What it changes for you

It's not just what the platform does — it's the hours it gives back, the community it keeps close, and the team it lets you build.

Save hours every week

Invites, payments, evictions, greetings and reminders run themselves, and one dashboard replaces checking box after box. You spend your time hosting your region — not administering it.

Keep your community close

Arrivals, rentals and tenant questions reach you in Discord and in-world at once. Answer residents, follow group chat and welcome newcomers from anywhere — without logging in to Second Life.

Share the work, stay coordinated

Give each manager exactly the rights they need — per land, area or rental — inherited or overridden as your structure grows. A real team runs the operation together, with no shared master password.

Decide with real numbers

Exact income, full history and visitor insights turn guesswork into decisions — and your branded storefront gives the whole operation a professional face to prospective tenants.

A click or two, not an afternoon

The work that used to mean flying out to a parcel, touching boxes and redoing settings by hand is a button on a web page.

Move a tenant to another unit

A tenant wants the bigger plot next door? Open their rental, choose the new unit, confirm. The time they've already paid for moves with them — converted at the new unit's price — along with their co-tenants, rez rights and security list. Their group membership never drops for a second. No refund-and-re-rent, no re-adding people by hand.

Every routine action is a button

Rent a unit to a resident, reserve one, add time, evict, refund, settle arrears, lock a plot — all from the rental's page in your dashboard, from your phone if you like. You don't have to be in-world, in range of the box, or even logged in to Second Life.

Nothing to script or wire up

Prices, prim limits, security, group invites and notifications are settings on the website, not notecards and scripts inside an object. Change one and it applies immediately — across a whole land at once if you want, without touching a single box.

That's the quiet advantage of a platform: the admin work shrinks. What is a careful ten-minute in-world procedure elsewhere is two clicks here — and it's the same two clicks whether you run ten rentals or a thousand.

What you actually get

Four things a box can't do on its own — all part of your plan, no separate products to buy.

1 · Manage the whole region

Keep a growing estate under control. Not just units on a parcel — the land, its sub-areas, its security and its layout, modelled the way an estate actually works.

An Areas layer

Divide a land into Areas — each with its own managers, security and visitor scope. A structural layer between the land and the individual rentals, so a whole region is one coherent thing, not a scatter of independent boxes.

Security at every level

Access rules, ban and guest lists, and automatic ejection — scoped to the whole land, an area, or a single rental. It runs even while you're offline. No separate security orb to buy or configure.

Scoped staff roles

Assign managers at land, area or rental level, with fine-grained rights. Lower levels inherit the grant above and can override or restrict it — real delegation for a team, not one all-or-nothing password.

Interactive 3D layout

See your land and its rentals as a real 3D scene you can move around in — not a flat 2D map. Understand your region at a glance and lay out units visually.

2 · Run it as a business

Protect your income and look the part. A public storefront, exact numbers, and lifecycle automation — the tools of an operation, not just a payment collector.

Your own branded website

Group your lands into brands, each with a public, searchable rental-listing site for prospective tenants. A storefront for your business — not just an admin panel only you can see.

Exact, charted income

Income accurate to L$1 — per rental or aggregated per land — with charts over time. Know exactly what your operation earns, this week or this year.

Full, queryable history

Every rental period, price change and prim limit is stored as real historical data you can look back through — not a throwaway log. Nothing is removed until you choose to delete it.

Automated land sales

Drive the whole land lifecycle: list a parcel for sale to an authorised buyer at a set price, detect the sale, and automatically rent to the buyer, reclaim a wrong owner, or lock on abandon. Sale, rent and abandon — all handled.

Rules that protect income

Restrict renting to members of a chosen group (and even a specific role), ban a resident from renting your units, and have unpaid arrears follow a returning tenant automatically — no walking away and re-renting clean.

One console pays for all

Pay any of your lands — and your bot subscriptions — from a single Land Console. No funding each box individually, and only that one central box needs debit permission.

3 · Community, Discord & bots

Never leave a tenant waiting. Stay close to your residents even when you're not in-world — for your group, your land, your community.

Discord alerts

Arrivals, rentals, overdue notices and daily summaries pushed to your own Discord — typed per land and per channel, fully configurable. Included in your plan.

Group chat ↔ Discord

Mirror your SL group chat into your own Discord and back — bidirectional — so you can follow and answer your community from anywhere. Runs on an optional personal bot.

A support desk you run

Tenants raise a question straight from the in-world rental console; you and your managers are alerted in-world and in Discord at once, and answer from the website or Discord. A help desk for your tenants.

Bots, included and optional

One shared inviter is included free — tenants are invited with the right role on rent, removed on leave. Add an optional personal bot for greeting, the Discord relay and group-restricted renting: one price for all its functions.

4 · Your data, protected

Peace of mind, with nothing to hide. Real data protection, built in — not a privacy paragraph at the bottom of a page.

No card or bank details

You never hand us a credit card or bank account. Every payment — your subscription included — happens through Second Life's own money system in L$, as an action you take in-world. We never see or store your financial details.

EU-hosted

Your rental and visitor data lives on EU infrastructure, with sub-processors disclosed. You always know where it is and who touches it.

Export & erase

Self-service data export, and formal land-scoped erasure workflows (GDPR joint-controller, Art. 26) — genuine data-protection tooling, not just policy text.

Retained until you say so

Your history is kept for as long as you want it — every period, price and tenant — and deleted when you decide, not silently aged out.

No ads, no data sale

Your tenants are never a marketing channel. We don't run ads at them or sell data — the platform is funded by your subscription, and nothing else.

Why a subscription?

Because the cloud is what makes the features possible — and a service that runs servers has to stay funded to keep running.

The cloud is why the features exist

Full queryable history, charted income, in-depth security, visitor insights, Discord bridges, a branded website, availability boards on other regions — none of it can live inside a single in-world object. It needs servers.

Transparent and aligned

The money that keeps your service running is visible and predictable. No hidden recurring fee, no betting on transaction volume — we're funded to keep the servers up, support staffed and the product improving for exactly as long as you're a customer.

Predictable longevity

A one-time price for an ongoing service is structurally fragile. A clear subscription is what lets a platform keep the lights on, the data safe and the roadmap moving — year after year.

How it works

Thin, reliable boxes in-world; the heavy lifting on the platform.

Simple in-world boxes

The objects you rez in-world are deliberately thin — they talk to the platform and stay out of the way. Less to break, less script load on your region.

Updates without a re-rez

Because the logic lives in the platform, you automatically receive new features and fixes without needing to swap out boxes or break what's deployed. The platform improves under you.

One box holds debit

Only the central Land Console needs debit permission — not every console on every parcel. One point of trust, easier to reason about and to revoke.

Is it right for you?

It shines when land is a business, not a hobby parcel.

Growing past a box

You started with a rental box and it's working — but you're managing more parcels than one dashboard can, and want reporting and staff roles that scale.

Running whole regions

You operate one or more entire regions with a team, and need areas, layered security, combined income and a community that stays connected on Discord.

Building a brand

You want a public storefront for your rentals, a professional support channel for tenants, and data protection you can actually point to.

Questions

No. You can connect your existing Casperlet boxes and keep renting exactly as you do now, while the dashboard, reporting and notifications work on top. When you're ready to move fully to native rentals, the transition is smooth and supported — at your pace.

Because most of what makes it a platform — history, charted income, security, visitor insights, Discord, your branded website — runs on servers, and servers have an ongoing cost. A transparent subscription is what keeps them running, support staffed and the product improving for exactly as long as you're a customer. The price is predictable and published per region.

No — a shared inviter that adds and removes tenants from your group is included free. A personal bot is an optional add-on for greeting visitors, mirroring your group chat to Discord, and group-restricted renting. One price covers all of its functions.

On EU infrastructure, with sub-processors disclosed. You can export your data yourself, and land-scoped erasure workflows (GDPR Art. 26) let you delete it properly. It's retained until you choose to remove it — never sold, never used to advertise at your tenants.

It's built for people who run land as a business — but that starts as soon as one dashboard for everything saves you time. If you're renting a parcel or two as a hobby, a simple box may be all you need; if you're growing, this is the tool that grows with you.

Nearly all of it. Renting a unit to a resident, reserving one, adding time, moving a tenant to another unit, evicting, refunding, settling arrears, locking a plot, changing prices and prim limits, adjusting security and staff rights, answering tenant questions — all of it happens on the website, from anywhere, including your phone. You don't need to be in-world or in range of a box.

The exception is money: rent and your subscription move through Second Life's own L$ system, so paying is an action taken in-world — which is exactly why we never need your card or bank details. And you'll still want to log in for the fun part: hosting your region.

Already using Casperlet?

You don't have to start over. InWorld·Online connects to your existing Casperlet rental boxes — no disruption to your tenants — so your rental data flows straight into the dashboard, giving you reporting, notifications and visitor insights on top of the system you already have.

When you're ready to switch fully, the transition is smooth and supported. It's the easiest way to explore the platform without committing to a full migration from day one.

Run your whole operation from one place

If you manage several regions, or many locations, as a business — this is built for you.
